To our partners, donors, volunteers, staff, and the incredible women who make up Team Teal — your dedication, positivity, and support have helped us make meaningful progress in just twelve months. What happens when a few passionate women meet over dinner? In Memphis, this small but mighty group is already planning to light up the city in teal this September — shining a spotlight on ovarian cancer awareness. We’re inspired by their drive, heart, and vision, and we can’t wait to watch this incredible team grow.
More than just a dinner, this gathering was a testament to the power of community. These women are building a safe space to ask questions, offer support, and share strength. Together, they are planning a Knoxville Ovarian Cancer Walk later this year to raise awareness and show the power of unity.
Though it was our first time gathering as a group, it felt like we had known each other for years. The energy in the room was undeniable — full of warmth, support, and a shared desire to uplift and empower one another. As we continue to build these relationships, we look forward to welcoming more incredible women into our circle.

Supporting women throughout their ovarian cancer journey remains at the heart of everything we do. TN in Teal continues to:
Personally connect with women who reach out via Facebook, Instagram, or our website
Host local support group dinners across Tennessee
Distribute blessing bags to women undergoing chemotherapy, including footwear, hats, blankets, and Tennessee in Teal support materials
Established in 2013, World Ovarian Cancer Day is a global moment of solidarity. On May 8, we joined voices worldwide to raise awareness, honor those affected, and continue advocating for education and early detection.
A fun-filled day of games, raffles, and a silent auction, with all proceeds donated to building ovarian cancer awareness across Tennessee.
Every event attended, every conversation shared, and every donation made fuels our mission. As we move into our second year, we look forward to expanding our reach, strengthening our support systems, and continuing to stand together — in teal.
